Only movie that ever made me cry. My dad was the radio

operator on a B-24 that went down near Bucharest. He bailed out and was a POW for many months. He wasn't at D-Day, but after the scene where elderly private Ryan returned to the cemetery in France I just lost it thinking about all my dad and others went through in the war, doing their duty while scared to death, and most never said a word about it in the years after, or even thought they were special. They were, of course.
