As Winston Churchill said,

you can always count on the Americans to do the right thing, after they've exhausted every other option.

By the time Hillary said that, she'd already dug herself such a deep hole with her cavalier attitude towards the whole thing, that the mea culpa rang hollow. Nobody outside her core support group believed her.

Maybe somebody should just send her a copy of "Campaigning for Idiots". And trust me, I don't think she's an idiot. I think she's at her best as a policy wonk. Not connecting with people on the campaign trail. And she is at risk of getting smoked by someone who is at his best on the campaign trail.
