Nice. So a two income family making $200K per year can hire
a nanny for $40K per year and get taxpayers to pick up half the tab? I sure hope they think this through and means test the heck out of it. I can see some benefit to making it easier for low income workers with kids to actually work and be productive members of society, but like all well intentioned gov't programs, I can see this spawning a litany of bad unintended consequences... most notably a rapid escalation in the cost of childcare.
This should be very targeted at people who truly need help
