They are not all created equal, because some are based in fact. You might have an opinion the unicorns are real, but that doesn't make it so. JFK staunchly supported expanding government-paid health insurance, minimum wage increases. and protecting Social Security. His administration introduced the great Civil Rights Bill and drafted early plans for the War on Poverty. He spoke proudly of the legacy of FDR and Harry Truman.

You dismiss it, but barring a personal interview with JFK, the attitude of his brother and daughter is relevant. Or how about JFK's close personal aide, Ted Sorenson, who said, "I’m only 80, but twice in my lifetime I’ve seen that mighty surge of justice, first with Kennedy, now with Obama, and once again, hope and history rhyme."
