Just like the right to bear arms you put forth is a 'right,' there are restrictions. When's the last time you saw a guy walking down the street with an M2 grenade-launcher slung over his shoulder?

If your argument is that, even if it is a restricted right, it is a right for all, I can see that, but I don't think you'll find much a foothold that there shouldn't be some restrictions on felons relative to the rest of society, no? As for firearms for felons (violent ones, anyway), that would be an issue, I think, of taking away the most efficient tool of criminality from someone who, despite having 'paid their debt,' have already shown an inclination toward violent resolution.

And then there's that sticky state-federal thing...
