That filibuster would have been more bullshit if they'd actually done it.


Saying a filibuster is on the table to try and influence who the president picks (when he has picked a far-right extremist judge) is just a negotiating tactic (and one that was only supported by a handful of Dems).

That's a far cry from saying you won't even hear what a consensus moderate pick that the President has nominated to avoid a fight with Congress has to say. There's no negotiating to be done, tbh.
