Im not approving it either. And every one of my posts on this matter has


consistently said give the man a hearing, a vote and even confirm (for political reasons). But I don't take any comfort in the fact they haven't because that just means they haven't had the opportunity- and don't trot out Kennedy who was nominee number 3 for that vacancy which was filled about a year or more after it opened. The fact is both sides have politicized everything. Heck, Biden offered a blockage in 92 when there wasn't even a vacancy so that gives me a pretty clear indication as to how they would have handled it
