I agree that it is not, nor should be, an unfettered right. That being

said, given the language in the 2A, the bar on setting restrictions by the State should be set very high. I don't want to re-litigate the 2A here but I will concede some common sense restrictions if they can be proven to be effective without being overly burdensome to law abiding individuals.

But back to Garland, I think Obama made a conciliatory nomination here and the R's should graciously accept
