This entire discussion is a tangent because while I'm pretty sure you did in fact specifically argue that the PRA is an obvious unconstitutional breach of the separation of powers - this isn't even the crux to your overall argument about how this entire thing is a joke, sham, the President has the constitutional power to do any of this, etc... It became a discussion about the PRA because you specifically said the PRA would surely be deemed to be an unconstitutional breach od the separation of powers ---- and that of statement and what it implies about absolutely Presidential power is not supported by any reasonable legal analysis.

I just chimed in because I couldn't understand and frankly still can't how you can argue what you still seem to be above -- that overall, the President has some essentially boundless, constitutional "plenary" power to do anything he wants in a case like this and that ultimately a President can be completely recalcitrant in any way he so chooses and he has this kind of "Constitutional right". You are not right about this, regardless of how loudly you want to yell it. You want to argue some kind of selective or extreme prosecution -- that is a different argument. Have at it -- but it is a near certainty we wouldn't be here had Trump not refused to comply the proper way that predecessors have time after time after being given multiple chances to rectify what is a legitimately real situation with documents that are not his personal property by any reasonable definition or Constitutional authority.
