Other than gas and slight housing fluctuations, prices rarely go down. Gas is tied to the crude price and housing is a supply vs demand commodity.

I would surmise that the vast majority (if not totality) of people on this forum are financially stable enough to weather another quarter at the pump and increased food prices (except for when Boca goes to Five Guys). But many hoo actually have to work all day instead of posting are seeing less discretionary income. Credit card debt is also up there, too.
