never been one of those jobs and if we’re gearing our economy around making jobs that a 15 year old with a few hours of on the job training can do just fine into a job path for an actual adult to live off of, we’re making a brain dead decision. We should be training people to do jobs that add value and that a dopey 15 or 16 year old can’t do.

The push to make these types of jobs into living wage careers is part of what makes me loathe the democrat party and wish there was a non authoritarian alternative. What’s next. Living wages for the kid that mows your lawn or shovels your driveway, or walks your dog, or babysits your kid, or gets your mail when you’re out of town ? They just want some spending cash.
