I don’t entirely disagree, but with less venom. I spoke with a guy on my

Firm’s RE team - pretty apolitical and years of experience in commercial RE. Trump’s fraud is well beyond any norms in the market, but he also thinks the size of the judgement is way too large for 2 reasons - its Trump, and the total absence of any contrition by defendants for outrageous practices. But the fact that it’s trump is a big part of it.

I absolutely agree about the ny AG. Bragg as well. The ny cases have always made me squirm. If Trump wins, a lot of people may look back at this as a big part of it.
