Biden really only speaks coherently when he's upset (like Thursday). Debate


actually present such an opportunity, but he has to be careful because in the past his anger has made him look a little unhinged. Now, Trump is clearly a lot unhinged, but Trump gets the benefit of low expectations. Being unhinged, saying crazy shit, breaking the rules of the debate, etc is all baked into the cake already with the public's perception of Trump. Biden is supposed to be the contrast to that and the "steady hand."
