Lies, damn lies, and statistics. The silly part about this whole argument


is that it suggests folks will or should just ignore the crime, and changes in the amounts, they see around them if some carefully selected statistic can paint a different picture.

I'm guessing the folks in NY, SF and now DC are starting to accept, and finally address, the realities of what they're all seeing rather than whatever some journo wants them to believe. Not exactly the decision makers that would just be duped by some "Fox News myth".
