Wrong again. There are 330 official ports of entry along the


southern boarder. At 1600 migrants a day that’s roughly 528k a year. Compared to 2.2 million apprehensions plus the over 600k of known got aways that’s about 6 times as many NOT coming through official ports of entry.

Just in case you miss this in the article.
“U.S. Border Patrol agents at the Mexican border are on course to take into custody this month a quarter of a million migrants who entered the country illegally, while their colleagues at official ports of entry are expected to process roughly 50,000 new arrivals under a Biden administration appointment system.”

That doesn’t mean all of them are illegal because of asylum claims, but they did cross the border illegally.
