The World Health Organization declared the pandemic over on May 5, 2023, not in 2021. COVID-induced inflation in the US was actually highest in 2022, at about 8%. If you think prices are going back down to pre-COVID levels and Biden is somehow preventing that, think again. That’s not how healthy economies like the one we now have work. Deflation would indicate weakness in the economy and possibly an impending recession. The annual inflation rate, however, is now back in the same ballpark as pre-COVID.
