The Virginia Tech one said if somehow two applicants were an exact tie on merit (which is never explained), then they would accept a legacy. This would be only one person based on the last person accepted.

Most of these articles, including this one, just has a democrat mad that they cant continue to be racist and not go by merit. They really hate merit.

All of the responses from schools to the Supreme Court saying they are racist and illegally discriminate based on race were that they were mad about that decision. And that they would continue to be racist and discriminate any way they can including based on non-merit 'essays.'

Schools should be marketing to children of alumni. Great way to continue a sense of belonging and encourages people to donate, including via sports.
