That quite a leap. The general recommendation of a publication means that
one agrees with all the things that publication has every published? Heck, how can the genetics theory referenced every be "discredited" if people do not read the supporters of said theory, understand their very best arguments and evidence, and present their own contrary arguments and evidence.
There are many things that I listen to or read with which I have significant disagreements, but who I also think make strong, well reasoned arguments for their positions. Recommending those things does not imply, in any way, endorsement of their ideas. In fact, those are the people we should be reading and listening to most IMO - challenging our own thoughts and ideas against the others - especially when we believe those other ideas are wrong.
I vehemently disagree with Rufo on a lot, especially his concept that government power should be used to limit / prohibit the teaching of “bad” ideas. But, I think he is one of the people who best articulates that view point, so I would recommend reading / listening to him because one can better argue against ideas once they better understand them.
