I don’t like this particular proposed piece of legislation. Inflation index or 7% sounds reasonable but if you own property that had a rapid rise in value accompanied by rapid tax assessments and rapid insurance and utilities increases then inflation or 7% isn’t keeping up. That’s my landlord perspective. Now. I also live in 84fth District and I am waiting to see Clark’s entire body of work as a legislator. I have daughters and granddaughters who should be able to make their own reproductive healthcare decisions without interference from the government. We need legislation related to responsible gun ownership more than just offering thoughts and prayers. We generally need people at all levels of government who are capable of legislating like adults. And if I have to take a hit on an issue like this one or it costs me money from time to time because a Democrat is in that seat, than so be it! So yeah, I didn’t leave the GOP, they left me!
