and laws at our founding, but I think there were many other more important principles and precepts that undergird our founding and Constitution than “racism.” At least it’s not prominent in any of the founders writings - we need to move to this new land or start a new country to ensure that the whites suppress other races. It was not one of the primary drivers to initially settle the land or form the country - though the racism of the time clearly was baked into decisions and is reflected in the laws.
