I think policy wise we made some mistakes. The initial shutdown was probably needed but any shutdowns after that were not. Kids should have been back in school in August/Sept 2020. The economic impact didn't come from shutdowns. The economic impact came from behavior changes. Sweden had almost NO restrictions from the government and their gDP hit was almost as bad as their neighbors.
