I could be wrong, but I think the ICU thing is overblown. Initially, it


may have been out of an abundance of caution, but I read that later it was for reasons of (lack of) bed space.

None of that excuses not letting the WH know though, just that I don't think he was ever in critical condition meriting actual intensive care.
