Just under 40% would take DeSantis as their 2nd choice, when everyone else, including Haley, is well below 20%. I don’t put as much stock in that as he does, with all other metrics of popularity showing the 2 about even, with Haley rising and Ron falling.

But - I will say that recent results in elections vs advance polls should give us all some pause. We’ll know where voters stand much more definitively once the actual voting starts. My hypothesis is that Ron will underperform even his declining poll numbers, but we’ll see.
