There used to be a trail from the caverns near the bottom just off the


face on the Western side. It was mostly private, but the owners were tolerant of non-hunters hiking to the top. I probably hiked it 3, 4, maybe 5 times in my youth. Heck of a steep hike even when I was in good condition, but the views from the rocks on the top were pretty awesome.

My wife has a timeshare near the top. As Bobby D observed so well, "You can always go back, but you can never go back all the way."
