I like the idea for cities, as unused land in cities is awful

But hopefully the plan wouldn’t be to roll this out to more rural areas, where there is significant value in leaving rural areas undisturbed. But yeah, empty/vacant lots in cities should be taxed more heavily than buildings that are providing value to the city. That’s an interesting concept I hadn’t thought of before.
