Actually I find it interesting that they don’t have many coffee options
outside of one that originates with an espresso pod. They laugh at Starbucks and say it’s not real coffee but I don’t think they really understand how we like to have a large brewed cup of coffee - one that we can sip on for an extended period. Coffee for them is a shot of caffeine, which is fine. It’ll do that when I’m over there. But Starbucks has good strong coffee too. The coffe itself isn’t inferior just because it’s 12-16 oz instead of 2 oz. You ask for an Americano over there because that’s the closest you can get to a regular size coffee. All they do is brew an espresso or two and then pour hot water in. It’s terrible and watered down which is probably what most of them think Starbucks is. That’s what I actually got at Starbucks in Madrid. No wonder they think it’s shit coffee and theirs is superior.
As far as the clothes drying goes, that’s fine for the summer. But how do they get by in cold rainy areas during the winter with no dryers?
