Winning the nomination. Haley does, so she’s subordinating rule of law to her political ambitions. But she’d be a force against MAGA in many important ways if she’s elected, which certainly makes her a lesser evil than Ramaswamy, for instance, who is full MAGA.

She will push hard against totalitarian aggression and abandoning Ukraine to prove to Xi that his coast is clear in the South China Sea. Not MAGA in critical ways, which is why it would be good news if she could win the nomination. Even if I doubt I’d vote for her.
