You know, there is definitely an argument that says “only a fool would

Apply those past lessons uncritically now”. I’m struggling with which side of that idea is the greater fool. Agreed on the importance of this week’s elections.

If Trump is the inevitable nominee, which is probable, then an unknown, un-feeble, baggage free moderate dem could very well be exactly what the doctor ordered (so not Newsom). But again, unless Joe steps down soon, I don’t see how you get there without a lot of dem divisiveness.
