Looks stupid. If you ask me, the hairs you’re splitting on this point are mind numbingly stupid.

Nobody’s claiming one can buy a kit and snap a gun together like a Lego toy. But, you see, anyone who’d like to supplement his income with a ghost gun business can do so, very easily, with minimal investment. The tools one would need to perform the task are cheap compared with the possible revenue, readily available, and could be used competently enough by most people after looking at YouTube how-to videos.

Particularly when you consider that quality control probably isn’t really a thing. If you buy an untraceable weapon from some guy in a basement, I doubt there’s return policy.
