Incorrect
The receiver is the part where the magazine is inserted. In the case of an AR15 it is the lower receiver. 80% receivers are just that ..... 80% complete from an aluminum casting mold (there are a few polymer ones, but they are not highly regarded. They require further machining, drilling, grinding, etc. They are not "printed". Complete receivers require a stamped serial number, whereas 80% ones do not. Upon final finishing they can not be sold as it constitutes manufacture of a firearm.
