At first, I thought Trump was a buffoon who lost control ...


of the mob via the Big Lie (which in itself is a grave failure in leadership / violation of the Constitutuion). After reading the testimonies of his own staffers, tweet about Pence, his inaction, pre planned meetings, etc. ... I believe he wanted some of our leaders dead. Perhaps it wasn't his primary motive, but he certainly wanted it when the mob turned violent ... especially when he didnt have to be there ... giving him a bit of plausible deniability.

I'm confident Trump wanted some of our leaders dead. I'm sure he incited the mob. His inaction implied it. However, it's not easy to prove beyond a reasonable doubt of Trump's mindset at the time. That I also get. However, anyone who tries to excuse Trump's actions prior and inaction post attack on the Capitol is delusional. He should have been impeached, convicted, and barred from running for political office again. That's where he should have been held accountable.
