Think it depends on how effective they are with them. Isn't that how we
decided when to stop funding--in some cases with weapons only, in some cases with weapons and human capital-- in Viet Nam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, Syria, Libya, Lebanon et al?
I believe there is, and has to be, a limit but I don't believe we're at or near it yet. I believe Ukraine's objective is a valid one--that's a crucial part of the equation as well, the continuing "goodness" of their cause--and I believe the recipients of the aid have proved that it isn't being squandered on a futile exercise.
It's on them to keep proving that.
If you were looking for a specific dollar amount I admit I don't have one. I suppose if pressed I might look to what we spent on other causes we felt, as a nation, were worthy ones.
