China is looking at Ukraine situation closely. Supposedly part of the

reason they wouldn't support Russia more is they don't want to get caught in the sanction. And seeing how the world react on Ukraine will definitely affect their top level strategic planning. Most previous assessments, including Taiwan's own military, estimate Taiwan can only hold for less than 2 weeks if China push for full military assault. But I think between Ukraine's resistance and the global reaction, there will be much reevaluation. I mentioned a while ago that Ukraine might very well saved Taiwan from a military conflict in near future.
