face in this regard. But it's a cart and the horse thing. You can't force cart and horse travel if you don't make sure we have horses available. This should've been learned in CA where they started shuttering power plants before a viable replacement was in place. We're seeing the same in Europe now with shuttering nuclear plants and having to turn to Vlad even more for oil and gas because solar and wind aren't enough.

The good news is it doesn't have to be that way. There are plenty of rare earths here, in Canada, Australia, etc. But it was only recently we re-opened Mountain Pass in CA after Obama's EPA basically forced it to be shuttered. And that's still the only mine I can think of here off the top of my head. In the meantime, we keep importing from China which is a much less "earth friendly" mining process, and far from carbon neutral to get those out of the ground and/or dispose of or recycle later.
