That's where I assume this is headed, a different COVID shot every year

if you want one. Some years they'll predict better than others to determine their effectiveness.

That's quite different from pushing yet another jab from the same vaccine, or "keeping your shots up to date", that's proving to be quite ineffective against the latest variant, in order to keep your job and/or participate in life.
