I didn't say that the NYT itself can or will be prosecuted for breaking the law, as I know they have immunity in this case as a newspaper. I said the NYT "colluded in the crime" of publicizing private tax returns, which is true. That they are exempt from prosecution due to their media shield does not change that fact. As an analogy, if a foreign diplomat gets caught drunk-driving on U.S. soil, but can't be prosecuted due to diplomatic immunity, it doesn't change the fact that he broke the law regarding drunk-driving. It just means he can't be prosecuted for it.

If you want to dispute that it may be okay to leak someone's tax returns, then I have a little assignment for you: Go steal someone's tax returns and send them to a newspaper and see what happens. I'm sure you'd be totally comfortable doing than since it's not indisputable in your mind that it's illegal. LMAO.

Moving on, the failure to prosecute obvious, serious, PROVEN and ADMITTED felonies committed by Comey, McCabe, Clinton, Wolfe, Clinesmith and others -- all on one side -- while pursuing trumped up bullshit process crimes and entrapment against others -- all on the other side -- says all that needs to be said about the bias and corruption in the system. You're free to assert otherwise in your political debates with the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and Santa Claus, but I'll draw my own obvious conclusions here in the real world. Your flowery language aside, there is nothing lazy or intellectually bankrupt about it. It's just fucking obvious, and you know this because you'd have to jump through fifteen hoops to try to explain it otherwise -- THAT's rationalizing.

I'll go back to what I asked earlier -- what is the status of those IC cases against the dastardly Russians?

As for Horowitz, you are simply misstating his findings, and I'm not going to take the time to explain it again. You are also focusing on just one small piece of the puzzle, which is telling. You're focusing on the most benign piece -- written by an Obama appointee examining his own colleagues -- and yet even that is still stunningly damning.
