I can get into it with you about the minimum necessary transparency that any responsible voter should demand of a presidential candidate, and even more in the case of one so potentially conflicted. But I’m not even going there. I understand that you feel bad for poor widdle Donny, his feewings all huwt by mean old powitical observers. Waaaaaaaahhh!

The tweet does an excellent job of that. It cries very loudly. It tries to make dismissive generalizations about the nature of returns but doesn’t even touch on the specific revelations. It does nothing to advance the notion that this NYT article or those to come are a dud. All it does is try to drown out the revelations with loud crying.

So JM could have said “WHAT A TERRIBLE WRONG AS THIS THREAD EXPLAINS!” And then I probably would not have responded at all. But nothing in the thread shows the NYT revelations to be a dud. Maybe they will be, but there’s nothing here even asserting that claim. Just a bunch of Trumpies on this board hoping like all get out that it will be.
