Yes, I understand that the tweeter thinks a pres should not have to release returns, and that he thinks these disclosures are a violation of his trust.

But it addresses none of the contentions that the NYT is actually making about the substance of the returns. Which is what he would have to do to make those contentions a “dud”.

Otherwise it’s just something else for Trumpies to be outraged about. How dare somebody reveal exactly what every other presidential candidate of the past 50 years has revealed!

Please, by all means, be outraged. But that doesn’t address whether this article and those the NYT says are to come are a “dud”.
