Goes way beyond that (link). Says the patients are more like sufferers of


altitude sickness than pneumonia. Low blood oxygen level (like should be dead levels). Very complicated, but gist is patients may do better on a BiPap or nasal cannula than a ventilator. May help explain the low survival rate of vented patients. Docs are learning on the fly.
