Apparently so. I just read about it. At Trump's pep rallies last week
he was apparently giving out grades to Fox newscasters based on their "fairness and honesty", which in Trumpistani means "never critical of His Orangeness". Trump apparently went as far recently as calling the head of Fox News to complain about how he's covered. He sent his Attorney General (and I do mean his, not the country's) to see Murdoch and the next day Shep Smith resigns. And of course the endless fake news bullshit, which is really only designed to push news consumers to "friendly" outlets, and as is becoming increasingly clear, outlets he thinks he can control.
I'm sure you can't take Trump to court (and nothing suggests Trump or his campaign was behind this specific video), but the Trump Admin is itself a direct assault on the First Amendment. On freedom of expression. The video is the result.
People holding American passports can watch that without feeling nauseated? Millions of Americans will still vote for an admin that stands, quite literally, for killing freedom of expression.
Probably shouldn't be all that surprising, because there is plenty of opposition to free speech on the other extreme as well, on college campuses, TV, etc. The fact that a video like that could be shown at the incumbent president's campaign event should be a massive wake up call to us all.
