The more I look, the vote totals in CA are shockingly low.

The roughly 9 million votes case will be the lowest total in a presidential election in CA since 1980.

There have not been fewer than 10 million votes cast in CA since 1988 and more than 12 million in each of the last three presidential elections.

Maybe there are still a ton of votes in CA to be counted or something. Otherwise, some crazy apathy or something in CA this time around seems to mask pretty good / high numbers around a lot of the rest of the country.
