I don't get the logic behind it. Unless you live in a swing state, your

vote does not matter. No one campaigned in Alabama, Wyoming, Massachusetts, California, etc. I get that a popular vote will lead to a focus on the big cities, but how is that worse than a focus on 6-7 states that happen to be close? At least with the popular vote every vote counts the exact same amount.
