What's the issue here?
Clinton was paid $18 million over five years. He was more than "honorary" but spoke around the world at Laureate schools. Let's face it: he is one of four living former presidents -- with the best reputation as president -- and is known as an engaging speaker with worldwide interests. Laureate obviously gained prestige and gained students.
That's the same reason Laureate hired Condoleezza Rice and named her an "honorary professor." Tony Blair has also been paid to speak at Laureate schools around the world. [Post edited by DanTheFan at 09/06/2016 12:29PM]
