Not that surprising a statement. Think about it.


Not much will happen until next year, given the unsettled politics in both UK and US. Even after Conservatives choose a new PM, the party will have a weak hold on power until the next elections. At least you know that Merkel calls the shots for EU.

Then, there is a good chance that the UK splits up within the next five years -- maybe Scotland, maybe Northern Ireland gone. Why rush into negotiations about trade?

I suspect that Brit elections next year (a guess) will turn around Brexit, possibly nullifying yesterday's vote. After all, it wasn't binding and the margin was close. 51.9%.
