Question for the Box: Is the end of the United Kingdom on the horizon?

Distant horizon, of course.

But the SNP was loudly threatening to try and get another independence referendum if Brexit passed. Sinn Fein is also not happy - "This British Government has forfeited any mandate to represent the economic or political interests of people in Northern Ireland,” is their statement. Irish nationalist parties hold 40 of 108 seats in the Northern Irish parliament and the SNP holds the Scottish Parliament.

How likely is Scotland to make another independence push? And will the impending departure from the EU and the potential (perhaps reality) of an independent Scotland to increase nationalist feelings - either Irish or Ulster nationalism - in Northern Ireland and push the fairly solid unionist majority into the minority?
