Rape and childhood violence are different and go to turning off

potential movie goers. I suppose this does too, but it does seem that people complaining about his want to have it both ways. They want women to have the opportunity to play strong, leading characters in action films.... as long as no violence against women is depicted..

I don't recall any controversy over Tom Hardy being chained to the front of a car with a hanibal lecter mask on.
