Just like many Christians have in the past and still do in many places. I don't think the religion itself is necessarily any better or worse than any other (I'm one who generally has no use for religion and really cant stand to be around ANY preachy religious fanatics regardless of,their creed, Islam included).

Again, secular societies are behind women's rights. Few if any religions have a history of treating women particularly well. Certainly Islam as you not but Christianity has its own history (see burning women as witches, for,example).

Yes, I realize there are more people practicing extreme 11th century versions of Islam than Christianity these days but that goes back to point one (bass ackward tribal societies).
