I thought his first post was kind of funny (if you're not overly sensitive)

in that several of the more prominent stories about gay rights HAVE involved baked goods for some strange reason (first the case of the baker who refused to bake a cake, and then the whole foods "incident").

Then his next post was a reference to to the fact that the acronym DOES seem to keep growing. When I was at UVA, it was "LGB" (they may have already added the "T" at the time I can't really remember). Then it went to LGBT. Now LGBTQ is pretty common. In doing a quick search on the terms, I learned there is also a LGBPTTQQIIAA+. Now, it doesn't bother me at all, and they're free to add as many letters as they want, but again, I thought Tuck's "apology if he missed a letter" was a funny (even if a bit snide) dig at the constantly evolving acronym. It's hard to keep track of honestly.

It's really only offensive if you're looking for things to offend you. Everyone really needs to lighten up.
