He received nearly identical vote counts as Hillary there, yet she won with 64% of the vote to his 45%. There were almost 1.2M non-Trump votes on the GOP side, more than double the 566K Bernie got.

Unless you think that addl 1.2M voters will all flock to Hillary, or even predominantly, or simply stay home, all while assuming Bernie's voters all jump aboard the Hillary train, I think you might be fooling yourself, no matter what the polls say at this point.

I could certainly be wrong but that's a whole lot of GOP primary voters you're hoping disappear or become a wash IMO.
