Are you asking about her appeal to women or her case to be POTUS?


If the former, absolutely. She has a long, well-documented history of fighting for women's rights (equal pay, reproductive rights, etc.) and that is largely why she is popular with women. Cue Alex to bring up Bill's mistresses, of course.

If the latter, I think it's more that she's a Clinton than she's a woman. While she is undeniably accomplished and capable in her own right, she is just as undeniably a beneficiary of being Bill Clinton's wife. If she were just some woman off the street who won a seat in congress I doubt she would have been SOS or presumptive nominee and likely president.

But that doesn't make her all that much different from any member of the Bush or Kennedy family, among others. And it's not like Donald Trump wasn't born on third base himself.
